アルバムでおしゃべり

　クラスの親睦を深める、また過去形の練習・定着によいアクティビティです。
　前時に、家庭にある小学校卒業アルバムをもってくるよう指示します。
　アルバムを持たない子がまれにいるので、家族のアルバムやスナップ写真で
もよいと伝えます。

　本時では、オールイングリッシュでアルバムを見せ合いながら対話を楽しみ
ます。
　はじめに、質問に使える表現を学ぶため、下記プリントを音読させます。
　机を向かい合わせ、時間を区切って何人もの生徒と対話できるようにすると
いいでしょう。
　音楽をかける（楽しい雰囲気をつくる・大きな声で会話させる目的で）、教
師も自分のアルバムを用意して生徒との対話に加わるとgoodです。
　英語が不得手な子は決まって日本語でおしゃべりをしますが、笑顔で会話し
ていれば私はいいかな、と見ないふりをしています。



Example Instruction:

　Everyone, put your album on the desk.
　As I told you in the last class, we are going to enjoy talking, looking
at someone's album.
　You can ask any questions of everyone including me.
　Actually, I've brought mine, Ta-da!
　There is one strict rule today; You speak English.
　You mustn't speak Japanese for the next 45 minutes.
　If I hear a single word of Japanese, I'll catch you and throw you out of
that window.
　Now, let's prepare for the activity.
　Can you put your desks together so that you can be in front of the
student sitting next to you; We could use three rows of students in
which you can see your partner face to face.
　You have five minutes to talk with your partner sitting in front of you.
　Now, students who are sitting in the right rows, please raise your hand.
　I'll ring my bell every five minutes, so when you hear it, you move to
the right to sit on the seat next to you. Those who are sitting in the
left rows, please be seated all through this activity.
